Our History

Phil & Sharra WilsonThe Bridge Fellowship’s humble beginnings started in March 2005 with Phil and Sharra Wilson and a simple dream. A dream that eventually became a calling on their lives. They started praying and planting seeds for a new church in Wilson County, Tennessee.

Phil, a graduate of East Tennessee State University, and Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary has been married to his sweetheart, Sharra, for over 25 years. They have four great kids: Daria (married to Matt with one daughter, Lydia Kate), Isaac, Elijah, and SaraGrace.

On September 18, 2005 the Wilson family along with a number of other Mount Juliet families, held their first service at West Wilson Middle School. As they continued to grow in numbers, September 2011 marked another significant moment in their history as they were blessed with a move into their new building in Lebanon, Tennessee.

We have officially launched our second campus in Watertown Tennessee, and we are overwhelmed by the welcome we have received.

Although the history of The Bridge has been filled with amazing moments, there is even more excitement about the future because they know that God will do exceedingly and abundantly more than they can ever ask or even imagine.
