COMMUNITY GROUPS

“And let us consider how we may spur one another on toward love and good deeds, not giving up meeting together... but encouraging one another.”
 Hebrews 10:24–25

At The Bridge Fellowship, Community Groups exist to help people find biblical community in the context of everyday life. More than a weekly gathering, they are a place to build relationships, grow in faith, care for one another, and live on mission together. We need community because life is too heavy to carry alone and spiritual growth happens best when we are connected to other believers.

Community Groups are one of the primary ways we help people move from simply attending church to truly being known. We believe following Jesus was never meant to happen alone. We all need people who will encourage us, pray for us, challenge us, and walk with us through real life. Our hope is that every person at TBF would find a group of people who know their name, know their story, and help them follow Jesus more faithfully.

what does a community group look like?

Each Community Group is a little different, but most groups gather regularly in homes or other relaxed settings and are built around consistent relationships, biblical conversation, prayer, and mutual care. Some groups share a meal. Some focus more on discussion. Some are made up of couples, men, women, or a mix of life stages. No matter the format, the goal is the same. Community Groups are meant to be a place where people can build authentic relationships, grow spiritually, and do life together. Community Groups are not about perfection. They are about presence. They are about showing up, being known, and growing alongside others in a real and meaningful way.
